This workshop will give practical examples of how to increase nutrients into daily eating habits. Participants will learn how to make a healthy smoothie with fresh fruits and vegetables and be able to sample a smoothie as well! The workshop will also provide a food substitution chart which recommends choosing healthier ingredients over similar less healthy ones. Examples of super food products and the importance of a balanced meal will also be discussed. Finally, instructors will discuss strategies on how to balance nutrition with a wellness aspect that includes exercise, water intake, proper rest and fresh air.

Directions & Parking:
There is plenty of free parking at the Dunbar Neighborhood Center and the space is ADA accessible. A 155 MARTA bus stops right in front of the center and it is a 10-15 minutes walk from both Garnett and West End train stations.
